fred44nl 4758 posts · Joined 2010. #5 · Feb 27, 2015. the original Multitronics had a clutch with 6 lamells, basically all of these clutches have been modified to have 7 lamells. since then, the problems seem to be solved. bottom line: Audi is abandoning the Multitronics. there is going to be S-tronic also for FWD.
