I found this Fixxer file online which I was thinking it would not work. The fixer said that everything looked fine but still asked me if I wanted to run it. I clicked yes and then the game just worked.

I play BFME 1 on Windows 10. It works perfectly. I don't know about 2 though. I don't have a copy of 2 and the PC The Rise of the Witch King version are very expensive to acquire on ebay or Amazon. But i think it has something to do with the "installforge" executables in windows 7. (Both BFME1 and BFME2 switcher installers were made by the same person using the same app) Take a look at google if someone on the web has ever fixed it.
